New Emergency Siren
For the safety of all DMR property owners, an emergency siren will soon be installed in DMR on Apache Mountain. The siren was ordered in October by the DMPOAVFD and payment for the the full cost will be split equally by our VFD and the DMPOA. More info coming soon...
Speed Bumps in DMR?
It was reconfirmed at DMPOA's November Board meeting that the two "new bumps" between Whiskey Run and the Country Store were not intended to be "speed bumps". Those two areas were reworked by the Road Crew in order to recover and maintain existing drainage culverts, which were becoming exposed and at risk for damage. However, Board members recently proposed, and the Board approved, that the DMPOA Road Committee be responsible for locating bumps and dips for the purpose of proper road drainage and, slowing traffic...
Speeding and Wreckless Driving
The problem not only continues, it has fast become an even more serious issue. Speed limits are posted on the main road and within DMR. So please remember, 20mph remains the speed limit throughout DMR.
